The R120 automatic voltage regulator (AVR) for the TAL series of industrial alternators provides excitation current up to 4 A with excellent reliability.

Automatic Voltage Regulator SPS-120 which is equivalent to Leroy Somer R120 AVR.
The technical specification is as following.
- Multifuncation selector switch to set 50/60Hz, Under frequency and engine relief adjustments.-
- Remote POT facility to adjust voltage remotely.
- Under Frequency protection.
- Fuse Protection
- Surge voltage protection at input and output.
- High PIV power devices used for reliable operation.
- Power and Sensing Input Voltage : 85-140V AC.
- Frequency: 50-60Hz.
- Output DC Voltage: 90V DC at 110V AC.
- Output DC Current: 10A DC forcing 15A DC for 15Sec.
- Resistance: 12Ohms minimum
- Regulation: +/- 1%.
